Criers

Terms of Use

Last updated July 27, 2026

These terms keep Criers a quiet, safe place. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Who can use Criers

You must be at least 13 years old. You confirm your date of birth when you create your account, and you agree to give accurate information.

Your account

You sign in with your Apple Account and choose a username. You're responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account — don't share it or transfer it.

What Criers is for

Criers is for staying close to people you already know in real life. It is not a place to meet strangers, grow an audience, or promote anything. There are no follower counts, no public profiles, and we intend to keep it that way.

What you agree not to do

Your content

Your notes and messages are yours. Messages are end-to-end encrypted, so we couldn't read or license them even if we wanted to. You give us only the minimal technical permission needed to deliver your content to the friends you send it to.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which removes your data immediately. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and where the violation is serious — harassment, impersonation, illegality — we may do so without warning.

The service, as it is

Criers is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us to use Criers — which, today, is nothing.

Changes to these terms

If we make meaningful changes, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Criers after that means you accept the updated terms.
